"I’m a native of Cape Town, currently based in Johannesburg. I work as a film editor and video artist and share my home with my wife, a documentary filmmaker. I am inspired by cinema mostly, and other people’s music to a lesser degree. The musical talents I most admire are DJ Shadow, Lee Scratch Perry, Miles Davis, some early Tricky, America … After an 11 year break 1998 saw the start of weaver001. This is my first solo venture."
