Planet Mu celebrate 10 years (although e thought it was longer) and 200 releases with a 26 track comp featuring new tracks, collaborations and a selection of previously vinyl-only releases. It's about as all-star as the idiosyncratic label gets, and is pretty much great.
This tenth anniversary compilation and 200th release from Mike Paradinas' Planet Mu label shows they've been reinvigorated by dubstep, with the rhythms of Ital Tek's tracks bridging the gap between the moody experiments and breakcore temper tantrums of Planet Mu's youth.
To celebrate 200 releases and 10 years of squelchy acid burps, 170bpm gabbacore and bowel breaking drum'n'bass, Mike Paradinas looked deep into his Planet Mu achives and pulled out 26 of the most disturbing tracks he could find, from Ceephax and Shitmat, to Milanese and Duran Duran Duran. So hardcore it hurts.
